SkillsFuture Employer Awards

The inaugural SkillsFuture Employer Awards recognise exemplary and progressive employers that champion skills development. They grow their talent pool and bring out the best in their employees, offering learning opportunities and structured skills-based career pathways.

How does it work?

Up to 10 employers will receive a non-monetary and national-level recognition award that honours them as exemplary employers that not only see value in skills mastery but are also strong advocates for building a lifelong learning culture in their workplaces.

Who can apply?

All Singapore registered entities covering small and medium enterprises (SMEs), large corporations and voluntary welfare organisations. Nominations from individuals, companies, chambers, trade associations and unions are welcome. Organisations may also self-nominate.

What are the criteria?

  • Demonstrate strong support for SkillsFuture and its key tenets, including how the organisation has been supporting the SkillsFuture movement
  • Recognise skills and mastery in hiring and career development of their employees, including how the organisation emphasises skills in staff development; and 
  • Align employee development efforts with other national manpower objectives, including how the organisation has strengthened its competitiveness and sustainability by adopting initiatives to enhance productivity, build a strong Singaporean core and/or create a good working environment
