  • Taking the pulse: A survey of IA in Singapore 2013
    As part of the Asia Centre of Excellence for IA (ACEIA)'s advocacy for an effective and well-resourced IA function for corporate governance, the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) and KPMG jointly conducted a survey on the state of the IA Profession in Singapore for 2013. This flagship study allows companies with a passion for good corporate governance practices to benchmark their IA function against similar organisations.

  • SGX Listing Rule 1207 (10): Challenges and Opportunities For Chief Audit Executives
    The Institute of Internal Auditors, Singapore and Thomson Reuters organised a roundtable on 3 August 2012 to seek insights from Chief Audit Executives ("CAEs") on the Listing Rule 1207 (10) which came into effect on September 29 2011. CAEs from seven of the Top 50 companies listed on the SGX attended this roundtable. This discussion provided a platform for the CAEs to discuss their implementation challenges with the rule, as well as opportunities arising for the internal audit profession.
